ANOTHER DELAYING TACTIC
Clarence Thomas has probably asked three questions in oral arguments over the course of his entire career on the Supreme Court. He has stated publicly that he thinks oral arguments are a waste of time, because they are nothing more than staged shows that repeat arguments that have already been made in hundreds of pages of written legal briefs.
Lord, in the Name of Jesus, please cause Sen. Grassley to stand firm and not waffle. Confound the enemy, I pray. Amen.

Even if they ever get her into the District of Corruption weeks from now, she will walk into the meeting room and tell them,
"I'm here to tell my story. But I won't be put under oath."

Ford’s attorneys wrote that it “is not possible” for Ford to testify on Monday. The lawyers added that “the Committee’s insistence that it occur then is arbitrary in any event.”

If she doesn’t show up call the vote right then... she can show up when she pleases and testify sometime in the future if it pleases her.
I heard Grassley say if she was going to testify, she had to submit her testimony in advance by 10:00 AM Friday.
The Swamp Rats have more than one reason to stall this as long as possible.
Gives them more time to cook up another whopper to spring on Kavanaugh out of the blue.
Keeps their base stirred up and engaged in the run-up to the midterms.
Most importantly it diverts attention of the public and the Senate away from the exploding FBI scandal.
Actually, since DiFi refuses to produce the unredacted letter and Senate rules require Ford to provide her statement to the committee by Friday for a Monday hearing,what she wants is to not have to provide her “evidence” in advance so to ambush Kavanaugh during the hearing without the ability to refute it. Then there will be a new demand for the FBI to re-open the background investigation and a delay for a follow-up hearing. And then they will say that it is too close to the mid-terms so “we” must wait to see who controls the senate next year, just to be fair. LOL
Ford opens door to testifying next week
Isn’t she so sweet to deign to appear maybe if the Senate agrees to her demands while offering absolutely no proof of her charges. We find out she was quite the bar hopper in her younger days and as a professor her students think there is something wrong with her.
Meanwhile Kavanaugh has dozens of people saying what a good guy he is. People like his ex girlfriends when he was going to school.
Imagine what the guys who went out with Ford would say about her....
