France is not a NATO member. The French are very confident, that the next time there is a war in EU they will win it alone. Denmark is a member, but they promised to fight longer than 6 hours if war comes again.

France most certainly IS a NATO member. Have been since 1949.
From the Wikipedia page on NATO member states:
"France withdrew from the integrated military command in 1966 to pursue an independent defense system but returned to full participation in 2009."
