I doubt it's mistaken identity though - she knows it wasn't Kavanaugh, even if it did happen.But an "out" that gives her protection from punishment for lying.

I guess “interesting” might be one of the adjectives describing it....it told me how one can feel when accused of something they didn’t do, hadn’t even had an idea than accusation was coming and only have the inner knowledge that “it wasn’t me” to rely on..if the ex-wife hadn’t been hell-bent on catching me, she might have never believed I wasn’t messing around on her.
