Shortly afterwards I was in the USAF, and a guy I was stationed with was from Hawaii, and I asked him about it, and he said it was true, that native Hawaiians couldn’t stand “haoles” because they felt the “haoles” had ruined their islands and polluted their culture.
Hawaii is 1/2 Asian-—it’s primarily the Native Hawaiians that hate the haoles and there aren’t that many of them left,most have inter-married other races.
