Congress should pass a law to eliminate the threat of late night accusations as a tool in derailing campaigns or appointments. It should be a felony to make a false accusation in an attempt to influence a Federal Election or appointment. If an accusation is made to influence, the accuser must submit to a deposition by the attorney for the accused 3 days after the the attorney provides public notice demanding the deposition. Failure to appear would carry a mandatory minimum 1 year in prison (no probation or parole) up to 5 years.
This will put an stop to this tactic. If not, the Democrats will continue to use it.
There would be people serving time for the Herman Caine and Roy Moore accusations if such a law had been in effect.
Only if she believes this to be a serious matter...otherwise we pay it no attention and move on.
She can lie all she wants under oath. All the comitrtee can do is refer it to Rosentein for prosecution. Good luck with that,
