I don’t see the problem. We elected Trump to do this. And the hype here on SS is BS. Trump has stated repeatedly the he is going to not negatively touch SS. Stop running away from what Trump promised to do, it got him elected. And he’s doing it.
The problem is purely political.

Most people do not look at SS as an entitlement, most people think of an entitlement as welfare, food stamps, disability being used as unemployment ect. ect.
