1) Get K confirmed, in case there is a constitutional dispute. I won't say "like the Nixon phenomenon," but obviously if Trump had to fire Rosenstein, the dark forces would start chanting the "Saturday Night Massacre" mantra. And remember that Dems would love to start impeachment and to increase the size of the SCOTUS.
2) In the midterms, elect not just R senators, but those who actually believe that the people, not bureaucrats, rule. Trump knows how hard it is to replace corrupt people without decent support in the senate.
