They have only one nationality.

They rejected Hamilton’s suggested “citizen at birth” as too broad, allowing for the admission of foreign influence.
They chose the more restrictive natural born citizen to exclude the children of foreigners.
The government has been overwhelmingly Progressive since Truman was elected.
The core tenent of Progressivism is the Constitution is outdated and must be circumvented to govern effectively.
Progressivism maintains that people are too stupid and ignorant to govern themselves. They must be manipulated to obtain the results the elite want. For that reason, the Constitution imposes too many restraints, and must be effectively nullified.
This has been happening for decades, at least since Franklin Roosevelt obtained a majority on the Supreme Court.
