Exactly. It’s time to put an end to the circus. Time to vote.

My hope is that Justice Kavanaugh will remember these proceedings for the rest of his life. Any chance that he will bend over backward to appear even-handed, or contort himself to "see the other side's point of view" should forever be tossed in the garbage can,

The new ‘sinator’ from Hawaii proves the islands are awash with the sickness of liberalism. The lying leftist queer Muslim Barry Soetoro has a contagion.

My comment from an earlier thread before the Democrats delivered their ultimatum
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3688511/posts?page=24#24
The Democrats have been bluffing and the Republicans have just called with the winning hand. Game over. This wouldn’t be happening unless all the Republicans are prepared to vote for confirmation.

Do clinical psychologists have a professional standard of ethics?
They do, but there are plenty of them who ignore them. Especially the ones who get on tv and insist that President Trump is mentally deranged. No ethical psychologist would ever do that, even if he had examined him, but ESPECIALLY if he hadn’t. I know we FReepers have “diagnosed” Obama, Hillary, Brennan, et al, but since we’re not professional psychologists, it’s just our opinions, and we’re entitled to them. An actual psychologist does not have that right, unless he has a doctor/patient relationship with the person, and even then, patient confidentiality prevents him from telling anyone about it.

Who’s putting the screws to Flake???
I don’t think your appreciation should go to Jeffy. Be interesting to see where he goes next for his paycheck.

He’ll be alright “in the court of public opinion”, but a sizable group of Dem women will believe just as you say.
But we were never getting those votes anyway.
It’s all a political show. The most childish I believe I’ve ever seen.

Same thing happened to Clarence Thomas, and the democrats had to just suck it up. He’s been an absolutely marvellous judge.

The Dems are playing the long-game on this one. While the Judge certainly did not do this, in the court of public opinion, he will be a convicted rapist, and Trump’s appointment of him will go down as illegitimate. I disagree with this assessment 100%. I see it the other way. The dems took a dirty shot and it backfired on them because their Huckleberry chickened out. She didn't want to be questioned under oath knowing it could put her in prison for lying.
The dems have cried wolf way too many times for the general public to believe anything they say anymore. They are known and established liars with zero credibility. Even their base knows they were lying but forgive them for trying to slow or stop the confirmation.
Bottom line: The dems jumped the shark.
It is my hope this is fully investigated (honestly) and anyone found to be complicit made to pay. If it's a senator, say Feinstein, she be removed from all committees permanently since she can't be trusted. In truth, after getting caught with a 20 year Chinese spy working directly for her and able to hear her private conversations; it proves her judgment has never been good enough to be on a single committee.

Ridiculous. What she has alledged wasn’t rape. I think the majority of Americans are fair-minded and will see this for the dirty trick it is.

I think there should be a hearing on Monday. If she does not show then put an empty chair next to Kavanaugh.

Markup is legislative language. Basically to move forward with the agenda item at hand. To mark up legislation, prepare for a vote, etc.

Flake has managed to live up to his name...he probably doesn’t really like himself...
