There were enough “males” surrounding him at the doors at one point and they could have all taken him down then. But what good would it have done? They must have figured it wasn’t worth the risk of injury when nothing was going to be done about his tirades anyway as evidence by the “no show” of police response.
And if they had done so, they would all have lost their jobs because that's the rules of retail. If anyone tried who wasn't an employee, he could sue for assault and win.
Somewhere along the line, we've taken the whole concept of "freedom" a bit too far. /s
They should have made some lassos out of extension cords.
In that liberal bastion, the violent thief would have filed a lawsuit against anyone who laid a hand on him... and would have won a huge payoff.
