Without the emergence of new evidence, we will never know if Christine Blasey Ford’s accusation against Brett Kavanaugh is true or not. And there’s nothing Kavanaugh can do or say that will clear his name. If you’re a man, a single uncorroborated account that dates back to 1982 is all your political critics need to accuse you of attempted rape.
It’s worth remembering that these Democrat tactics aren’t only meant to sink this nomination — should they end up forcing Kavanaugh to withdraw — but also to damage the credibility of any Supreme Court featuring Trump-nominated (or, let’s be honest, Republican-nominated) justices. Democrats have been dishonestly challenging the “legitimacy” of the court throughout these hearings. They don’t want to abide by any authority that treats the Constitution seriously, because it’s often the only thing standing in the way of their coercive policies.

If the commie rats accuse you of something, it is not a cloud, it is a badge of honor. It means you are a person of integrity and honor, and they will fight tooth and nail to keep you off the court. Far from being tarnished, they have acknowledged his worthiness.
Too much rational thought going on on FR these days. The Democrats aren’t think rationally or behaving rationally except for their one objective. They want to save the threatened Democrat Senators who want to avoid a vote to confirm Kavanaugh. Either way that they vote, they will lose. This is all about delaying the confirmation vote until after the midterm election.
If the Democrats get lucky and they gain seats in the Senate, then that’s a bonus, well worth the extra effort. But it they reduce the bleeding in the Senate, then they can continue to obstruct, especially with their stealth Democrats who call themselves Republican. The hearing on Monday is going to be a soap opera and this Democrat activist has been rehearsing her lines for months. They will be fact free and vague, but the emotional strings will vibrate with songs of #MeToo.
It is going to take a real scorched earth policy to stop this Democratic tactic from ever being used by them again.
Look at Clarence Thomas, look at judge Roy Moore, look at the Trump accusations of grabbing pussy and Russian prostitute golden showers. Look at the fetish with Stormy Daniels. This is part of their dirty tricks playbook.
First Republicans need to do a better job of being chaperoned and a better job of keeping it in their pants.
But defamation, liable, and perjury charges also need to be filed so people understand their are serious negative consequences to false accusations.

It would not be hard to have more dirt like this. If the definition of “dirt” is now “completely uncorroberated and unknowable claims of events that happened 35 years ago”, how hard is it to convince a few people that things they mis-remember from high school were actually horrible acts of criminality?
I mean, the left has been pounding the airwaves for weeks saying that if BK is confirmed, he will kill women and children, and destroy our country. Is it hard to believe that a few people out there wouldn’t do ANYTHING to stop that, I mean I’m surprised nobody has tried to actually kill him, because he’s supposedly hitler and you’d kill hitler right?
Actually, the accusation’s specifics don’t really point to rape. Her specific claims don’t include anything he said to suggest he was going to have sex with her. SHe implied a lot of things in her statement, things that the “felt” might be happening.
Feelings are real for a person having them, but feelings are notoriously bad for determining fact. “I felt he might kill me inadvertently”, but nothing she said actually happened comes close to something that would kill a person.
She didn’t even say he tried to kiss her.
Even if you presume the entire incident happened exactly as she said, what she claimed was he got on top of her, held her down, put a hand over her mouth when she screamed, and attempted to remove her one-piece bathing suit from underneath her clothing (which sounds like she’s saying he was trying to unhook her bra, not realizing she was wearing a bathing suit).
And before anything actually happened, by HER account the other guy in the room jumped on them both, and then she left and they did not follow her.
So, an “attempted rape” where the supposed “assistant” actually stops it, and where the accused would-be rapist stopped before anything happened, didn’t pursue the “victim”.
Note: if they find any evidence that ANY of this happened, he is DONE because he issued a blanket denial. He can no longer argue that she misunderstood. It would even be hard for him to argue that the woman actually came on to him, because his blanket denial included the idea of even being at a party with her.
Personally, I don't think the story is true. It either didn't happen (maybe she's remembering a scene from a teen party movie), or she went to a party and it wasn't Kavanaugh, or she remembers a different party that happened later in life.
