Yeah. I worked in some of the first plants sold to the Chinese after Nixon “opened up” the country. There had been only 10,000 foreigners in all of China since the 1949 Communist revolution when I was there.

There’s one other FReeper I talked with one time who was in China very, very early but I am not sure it was quite as early as that. I was there in the early eighties working.
