My impression is that she is totally lying and that Brett is innocent. Perhaps they were at the same party once when they were all in high school--but I'm not going to take her word for any of the other details (like that Brett was drunk).

Unfortunately all the Democrats need is to get a couple of the anti-Trump Republicans to peel off their support. Once again they earn their epithet of "the evil party."
