My bad. 6.8% of A-A students met the goals. Lots of challenges listed by school but only ONE initiative listed!

Key challenges at Fitzgerald High School supported by the data in the AER report are:

• Only 15.69 % of Students with Disabilities and 18.18% of ELL students met the
growth target for ELA.

• 0% of ELL students met the growth target in Math, or reached proficiency.

• 6.83% of African American students met the Math growth target.

• 32% of students are proficient in ELA compared to a 46% proficiency level
statewide.

• 11% of students are proficient in MATH compared to a 35% proficiency level
statewide.

Key initiatives being undertaken in the school to accelerate student achievement and
close persistent gaps in achievement are:
