And those EU @$$holes have done a very effective job of making American companies subject to GDPR. As individuals, we all refuse to bow down to the EU, since they are an ocean away and we live in a (so far) sovereign country. Like all socialists, however, the EU was at least smart enough to go after the visible targets they can control, the businesses, so that we all have to play by their rules. Look for that to happen in this case as well.
