What rising see levels? Show me anywhere that the oceans have risen? The few examples turn out to be lands subsiding. Natural, not human caused.
Where are all of the insurance companies that are going bankrupt from the seas reclaiming all of that expensive Florida real estate? We’re waiting libs.
Sounds like a very good and sensible law they passed to me. They could use lots of actual data and plan for the 9 inches over 100 years trend - instead of some wild a** guess from a GIGO computer model...:^)

There’s both. The subsidence is up to three times higher than the absolute sea level rise. It’s theoretically easy to measure absolute sea level, you just bounce a radar beam from a satellite off the water. The problem is that the level varies a whole lot compared to the rise (a few mm). It’s just as problematic to get a worldwide average because the Pacific sloshes side to side by a few meters at each end thanks to El NIno.
Funny, Miami hasnt been threatened, nor has any part of Florida. The southern states seem to be above sea level.
