A few problems with the presidents tweet.
First - Obama wasn’t president when he said this. It was during the 2008 campaign. He was a candidate - not a president.
Second - It was widely reported.
Third - It was 10 years ago!!! Weak sauce then - even weaker now!
Not so much.
Over the years I've frequently mentioned this to others, have yet to find a Dem that is aware he said this. And only a small percentage of R's are aware of it.
Contrast this with Dan Quayles potatoe miss-spell or Sarah Palins "I can see Alaska" (false by the way) statement. Everyone is aware of those.
