She Dear John’d me while I was at Khe Sahn.
I got 2 letters while in The Corps, the first was my Dear John, my second was from the Draft Board telling me to report for duty.
Life is truly WEIRD.

my second was from the Draft Board telling me to report for duty. What's even weirder is that yours is not the only case I ever heard of where someone got a draft notice while on active duty in Viet Nam. What an f'd up mess ...
