Anyone who thinks that the union strike has anything to do with this situation is mistaken. I don’t think that the strikers would commit willful murder to get their point across.
Two different companies are involved. National Grid (now UK owned) is on strike. Columbia Gas is the supplier to the affected area.
My father worked for one of the companies that were ultimately absorbed into National Grid. Seven years ago, after he passed away, I had to go to his company’s credit union to settle up a few things. When I spoke to people there about the state of affairs, the workers’ primary concern was that no investment was being made in gas lines that, in some cases, were well over a hundred years old. Leaks were being patched up as cheaply as possible. A lot of these lines were in downtown Boston and in residential areas.
“I dont think that the strikers would commit willful murder to get their point across.”
I wouldn’t think anyone would ever commit willful murder. But people do.
The tweets very much indicate a sabotage.
Then you are woefully ignorant of history, and also willfully ignore how the current Left is lashing out in every conceivable way right now. The media is whipping up every frenzy that they can find. I'll bet you a pizza that this was no accident.
(The Union Carbide disaster in India was caused by a single disgruntled employee. 2000 killed, and 500,000 exposed to deadly gas.)
