Those Alamo defenders couldn’t have been “heroes.” After all they were being vry offensive to Hispanic people.

Although most did decamp about a week before the battle ended and thus most survived.

But, there were Tejanos and Anglos both at the Alamo and at San Jacinto. FACT
In fact Juan Sequin was at both. He was the last rider that was sent out to plead for reinforcements. And fought in the battle of San Jacinto. (there is a county in South Texas carrying his name)
Right. And the Tejanos rebelling against Santa Anna were race traitors.
