Every single word Christiana Figueres wrote in this “op ed” is either a wild exaggeration, speculation without scientific fact to back it up, or an outright lie. This is normal for the corrupt Climate Change Technocracy.

It’s mostly outright lies.

Yes, the WHO report makes the estimates that she cites. She then goes on to condemn fossil fuels.

However, with even a cursory reading of the WHO report, it is obvious that the problem is due to indoor air pollution that arises from the use of sustainable fuels in low- and middle-income countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Sustainable fuels include dried dung, wood, paper, and straw.

If these poor people had access to fossil fuels and low-cost, coal-fired electricity, their mortality rates from indoor air pollution would plummet.

I’m genuinely concerned about their plight. I look forward to the day when they, too, have access to clean fossil fuels for cooking. However, I fear it will never come if anti-human misanthropes like Figueres get their way.
