Christiana Figueres was executive secretary of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change from 2010 to 2016.

Climate change was here hundreds and thousands of years before any of us were born. Duh.

Get back to me when there’s other “solutions” than more money & government control, Christiana.

Climate change is here now, and its time to urgently ask ourselves: What kind of future do we want to work toward?
The air we breathe is key to answering this question. Global warming is not just manifesting in devastating fires, floods and heatwaves; its causes are impacting nearly every breath we take. A recent World Health Organization report said that nine out of 10 people on the planet breathe dangerous air, and an estimated 7 million premature deaths a year are caused by air pollution-related diseases, including stroke and heart disease, respiratory illness and cancer.

Glaciers covered the Eastern US down to lower New England. Glaciers covered Europe down to France.
They are gone. The natural phenomenon that made them recede is STILL ACTIVE.

Therein lies the truth of the whole matter. Follow the money trail. They’re lusting after the billions that will be confiscated by legalized theft (taxes) to line their coffers....and their pockets. It’s all insane leftist BS to garner billions of dollars. We need to lock em up in insane asylums to Make America Safe Again.....MASA!!!!!

As far as “climate change” is concerned, I’ve yet to get a coherent answer to a question.
And that question is, since Earth has had numerous ice ages in history, and the ice ages ended due to global warming, isn’t climate change a natural phenomenon which we have no control over?
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Well, she should stop downplaying it and tell us how serious this problem really is.
We didn't get it the first 10,000 times. /s

Christiana Figueres? Seriously? The "UN expert" who stated publicly that the purpose of the Climate Change agenda was to undo the Industrial Revolution and change the economy?
"This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model, for the first time in human history.
"This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the industrial revolution. That will not happen overnight and it will not happen at a single conference on climate change, be it COP 15, 21, 40 - you choose the number. It just does not occur like that. It is a process, because of the depth of the transformation."
--Christiane Figueres, Executive Secretary of UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) 2015 speech

Anyone with a rudimentary knowledge of geological history (or the ability to type a few words into Google) can answer that burning question for you. For 90% of the last ONE MILLION YEARS, Earth's climate has looked pretty much like this:
So, yeah.
