MERCURY?
The link at post 41 states there are “several gallons” of mercury, there are actually 8 TO 10 METRIC TONS OF MERCURY. Talk about the potential for severe dangerous “spill”.
Can’t be local mercury spill if multiple reports that other Solar Observatory sites have gone dark recently:

AXIS 2320 Network Dome Camera in Sydney, Australia,
the SOAR Observatory in Chile,
BRT Tenerife Telescope in Spain,

and the JAT Observatory in Fariless Hills, Pennsylvania.”
