The Tropical Storm Warning has been discontinued north of Duck, NC,
including the Chesapeake Bay south of New Point Comfort.

The Hurricane Warning has been changed to a Tropical Storm Warning
from Duck, NC, south to Bogue Inlet, including the Albemarle Sound.

Duke is showing no outage in the greater Shalotte area so I’m hoping just the cable/internet is down.

Two weather guys at WCTI 12 in New Bern were forced off-air during their broadcast due to flooding. They were the last to leave the building.

Would be easier to say I can see ME, VT, NH and GA, FL. Nothing in between.

New Bern was in a very bad configuration for surge, and now it looks like it will be in a very heavy feeder band for hours. And the current wind direction will keep any water from being able to drain out for probably 12 hours or so.
