U2 is actually owned by Larry Mullen, the drummer. Adam Clayton is mostly responsible for the writing and Bono and “The Edge” are there to support it.
I’m sure that Bono and Edge have some financial interest in it, but it’s Larry’s band.

I love those three albums I mentioned (Achtung, Zoo, Pop) ... I wish they had gone in the Pop direction heading into 2000, but that album seemed to be a massive disappointment to the band’s paying fans.
