Based on the sloshmap I posted previously it matters little.
She will have a MINIMUM of 3-6’ of surge at her location.
For at least 2 DAYS through 2-3 high tides.
Not counting the 50” of rain on top of that with nowhere to go.
We can ALL hope the models are totally wrong on this and Florence will go quickly inland to an even faster death.
This close to the event I wouldn’t bet against the models to be THAT wrong though.
Did you ride out Katrina or Camille there? Would you ask your spouse to do so off base during said storm? Did she/he? Are you still married?
