We have three choices:

the status quo; which equals socialism and leftest totalitarianism. This is unacceptable.
Secession and/or civil war; this is not desirable but acceptable to me.
A Conservative/right wing dictator supported by the JCS and the military. This is not desirable but also acceptable to me.
