The mayor of its capital tweeted: "If he thinks the death of 3,000 people is a success God help us all."

64 remains the official death toll. the "3000" and "5600" estimates released by college "studies" include SENIORS who died as long as SIX MONTHS afterwards -- well within the normal death rate of the island, and thus NONSENSE and propaganda.

An island is unprepared for disaster and chaos ensues. How a that a president’s responsibility? They were killed by natural tragedy and decades of corruption.

“The mayor of its capital tweeted: “If he thinks the death of 3,000 people is a success God help us all.””

These people didn’t seem to be capable of doing anything for themselves. We had to do everything. And even then, the gross incompetence on their end was staggering. They couldn’t even figure out how to deliver supplies. We did everything except wipe the mayor’s butt for her and she’s still complaining enough wasn’t done.

I move for independence for Puerto Rico. The sooner the better. And then we should have a national holiday declared: Freedom from Puerto Rico Day.

Even if we assume the 3,000 number is correct... so what? Success is measured by no one dying in a natural disaster? Since when?!

No. Success is measured in the response and recovery. Given the state of the island before the hurricane and state it’s in now... I give those actions an “A”.

Notice that the college did their estimates only for PR ... guess they weren’t paid off to do the same exact studies on other hurricanes.

Explain how the 3,000 People could have been saved, move them to Venezuela before the Hurricane arrived?

They want to give the impression that the Hurricane hit and those supposed 3,000 died because no help was sent. Of course that was and is a Lie.

Putting the Cart before the Horse scenario.

Stupid debate. Should have never even answered. Reminds me of the entire Charlottesville garbage. Leave it alone and move on. These people are not your friends and never will be. No different then Maxine Waters and the crew.

Is Puerto Rico still floating? Has it tipped over? No? That’s good enough for me.

FEMA and other agencies sent more than enough aid. We even tried to fix the horrid electrical infrastructure. The island Commies horded and disrupted efforts to get the aid to the people of Puerto Rico.

The Entire Island is a fund sucking vacuum. Always has been. Nobody works, except in hotels where it is safe.
Puerto Rico is a paradise with a giant toilet bowl in the Center..and we are paying for it

It’s all over twitter tonight that there’s an entire runway covered in bottled water that was never distributed. How the hell does that happen?

Not one person yet has pointed to a single thing FEMA did WRONG in that response, but they all critizise his statement that it was the best response we’ve had.

I doubt it was teh “best response”, because Trump loves to say anything he does is the “best ever” even when it is clearly not true.

But what mistakes are these people saying FEMA made? What would they have done differently in the aftermath of that hurricane? What things do they think the adminsitration did wrong in preparing for hurricanes/ What is the actual complaint?
