So everyone in jail should get to stay at the hospital instead, if they ask?

After all, the taxpayers can pay the hospital bill.

Yes, just as basic Christianity or Judaism instructs us. The woman didn't deserve a death sentence.

.. winner winner . dumbest, most short sighted comment I have read today.. Every inmate asks to go to the hospital. and every inmate claims innocence or the demands their rights. Its jail, not a cruise ship. The cops Don't even have to give you a phone call until they are good and ready..

Maybe. Lots of folks ask to go to hospital. If she didn’t tell them she was detoxing they wouldn’t know
