Side note: Some simple solutions, so called "homeopathic" remedies, do work. One we found when we lived in Europe that was hugely effective in lowering a baby's temperature and allowing him/her to sleep were Eucalyptus Suppositories, basically wax and eucalyptus oil. Charcoal capsules for stomach issues, the same.
