Sessions: 50% increase in immigration judges, warns 'most' asylum claims are fraud...

Embattled Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Monday welcomed new guns to the administration’s war on illegal immigration, telling an incoming corps of judges to take a hard line on border-crossers who attempt to get in with false stories of danger back home and demands for asylum.

“As we work to restore rule of law in our immigration system, we will send a clear message to the world that the lawless practices of the past are over,” he told a new class of 44 immigration judges.

The 44 are the largest class in history for the immigration courts, official known as the Executive Office for Immigration Review.

Sessions and the administration worked with Congress to boost the numbers and the attorney general promised many more to relieve a seriously backlogged system.

He said that the system now has more judges than ever. And, he added, “We won’t stop there -- we will add even more by the end of this calendar year, with a goal of seeing a 50 percent increase in the number of judges since the beginning of the Trump administration.”

Sessions continues to focus on Immigration so by increasing Judges the Foreign Attorneys do not have enough Attorneys positioned here to fight back the deportations.

Do you have a problem with Trumps appointed man informing the public of what’s transpiring with Immigration???? If you cared to read the article it’s obvious he was speaking to the Judges he had appointed.

I know there are some here who oppose Sessions ....but he’s still doing the job with Immigration we want him to do.....which in my opinion that’s what Trump wanted him to focus on.

With more judges, expedited procedures, and major policy changes; General Sessions has finally turned around the backlog of outstanding Immigration cases.

The total backlog of cases is finally shrinking rather than growing.

Sessions told the new judges:

“most claims of asylum are fraudulent, and many abuse the nation’s sympathy to get in with false claims.” “Asylum was never meant to provide escape from all the problems — even serious problems — that people face every day all over the world. Indeed, Americans face serious problems every day also,” said Sessions.

He added, “The vast majority of the current asylum claims are not valid under the law. For the last five years, only 20 percent of claims have been found to be meritorious after a hearing before an immigration judge. “

BTW.....this is the Largest Class of Immigration Judges in History.....for the immigration courts!

His demand for immigration toughness is one of the reasons why President Trump selected Sessions to begin with. HE knew Sessions would sink his teeth into this and not let go.

Father, i thank you for the President and his good servant Jeff. Lord, please guide the both him and President, lend the President Your peace, understanding and patience, while You continue to support Jeff. help him, guide and correct him when necessary, let him always do things the right way, Your way, not the political way, not the expedient way, and, Lord, please vanquish the enemy this election to give us and him more time, please, in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.

I was responding to Sessions saying that MOST “asylum” claims are fraudulent.

DUH! Who the hell didn’t already KNOW this?!? These “asylum” cases are based on B.S. rules which the Obama Administration basically told every third world POS that all they had to do was show up at America’s door, present a child in tow and VIOLA you are awarded asylum and money and free crap until you die or America dies...whichever happens first!

I’m sorry that you were confused about my picture response. Although I do believe that Sessions is a firm, nasty, gutter-snipe piece of the Deep State Swamp - but on this one issue, and I do mean ONE ISSUE, he is doing a great job.

But thanks for asking.

Com’on...As long as we keep the laws that can automatically bankrupt us thru our OWN system, WE’RE DEAD !!

As with most all laws, the are written to ensure LAWYERS will always have JOBS !! We can all get fired and some lawyer will make a buck when he sues our former employer for sumtin or annuder... Asylum laws are OUR OWN SUICIDE PACT and guarded carefully by LAWYERS who cut a fat hog off the law...

Founders didn’t envision “Full Auto” TV, Radio or National Newspapers.. Shall we “cancel” all those things kuz founders crystal ball wasn’t working ?
