Ping list ping.
Veterans? Yeah, oppressing people by serving, defending and dying for them. How did I not see it all these years? Probably because I went to high school in Huxley, Iowa, not Cedar Rapids.
Emily Thomson.
The Cedar Rapids Community School District’s non-discrimination policy, per its website:
“It is the policy of the Cedar Rapids Community School District not to discriminate in educational programs on the basis of race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, gender identity, socioeconomic status, national origin, religion, disability, age (except for permitting/prohibiting students to engage in certain activities) or genetic information and in employment opportunities on the basis of age, race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, religion, disability or genetic information.
This “teacher’s” curriculum violates the policy and she should be disciplined or, better yet, fired. The policy probably wasn’t intended to protect whites, Christians, males, people with normal sexuality, American citizens, etc., but someone in town needs to blow this back on them and make it stick.
The biggest privilege:
Parents who married before the child was born, and stayed married.
Next biggest privilege.
Being an American.
Next biggest privilege:
A father who maintained relatively continuous employment (of any legal type and level) through the childhood of said child.
Regardless of race, this child has a chance of growing up in impoverished conditions of less than 10%, and the marriage part alone has approximately 1/6th the chance of being incarcerated as peers whose parents do not.
No surprise since there is no true north in Cedar Rapids.

Yep, my kids come home and say. You would not believe what we are learning. What they are not learning is English, History, the Constitution or Philosophy.

Ms. Thomson is a spiky haired track coach.....nuff said
Privilege? Oppression?
What do these words even MEAN in America?
And what is this “gender-neutral” pronoun movement? “It” or “its” are perfectly useful terms if the gender is unknown or undefined. Everything else that has an identifiable gender is either masculine or feminine.
You are forced to pay money to fund public schools which then force your kids to learn that you are racist, evil and homophobe.
OUTRAGEOUS!
ARTH reason number 3 trillion, 125 billion 375 million 789 thousand and 999. JFKennedy must be rolling over in his grave that his namesake school is doing this crap...
That is actually a very good definition of "gender", as that term is used today. Problems arise when SJWs of various stripes conflate (whether deliberately, or out of ignorance) "sex" with "gender". Gender can indeed be "fluid", since it's just a made-up construct. Sex is binary and fixed, because it's rooted in biology.
If we insist on using the right terms, we wouldn't have (e.g.) insane public bathroom policies. There are many very good reasons for segregating the sexes, in many places -- OTOH, it's pointless to try to segregate the "genders".
The loony left knows the power of controlling the language. Don't let them away with it. Insist on using the right terms: "sex" for biology; "gender" for all the made-up stuff.
Yes, why do parents have their kids in government schools? At some point, the subsidized babysitting isn’t worth it.
How about getting involved in the local school boards and taking back some control?
Why is our side always afraid to fight? Whether it's lefty schools, lefty social media, lefty whatnot, the answer always seems to be, "Run away! Run away!"
All public schools are but extensions of one:
The Frankfurt School.
That is why leftists Federalized education - and ejy the Constitution forbids it.
