Fed ex stops for nothing. With the planes grounded they were bringing in 18 wheeler trailers from out of nowhere. The hub was littered with 18 wheeler trailers and everything that would normally go on an airplane was now being loaded into these trailers for delivery. That was brilliant. What a good company. Is it good to work for?

Im sure in an office setting it is a good company to work for but throwing boxes in the hub is actual work. For a 21 year old It was fun... especially since I also drove a Tug pulling containers. I quit there after 2.5 years in October 2001 to take my current job with an Environmental Consulting firm. I have a side job that finds me at Fed Ex World Headquarters and other Fed Ex office complexes in Memphis. It is amazing how many people work for Fed Ex!! Cant believe so many people are required since they basically just move stuff and everyone knows what they do, so its not like they have to sell their services.... kinda like Coca Cola. The most amazing part is the seemingly made up bullshit titles most of the people hold within the company. Also they (office staff) are constantly screwing off with attending liberal PC lectures and also cookouts etc each week. Would love to work for them, do nothing and get that cheap health insurance!! Id have hell explaining to people what I do and what my job entails when people see my BS job title and ask 😜
