In the 1990's, I worked for IBM in Austin.

I was sent on a trip to a phone company such that IBM was paying $50,000 per day in DAMAGES to this company, since IBM was fouling up the ability of the phone company to dispatch repair service.

I had a flight cancelled (because of a tornado warning), and I got 'chewed out' for not catching a flight in Dallas. The tornado warning did not bother me, but the airline held us in area waiting for the flight that was later cancelled.

I made one minor mistake: I did not list the SHORT HOP flight from Austin (TX) to Dallas (TX) as part of my flight to the phone company. That would have mattered...

Maybe there are MORONS running IBM...
