Rep. Maxine Waters promised a crowd of young Democrats over the weekend that she would go after Vice President Mike Pence once President Trump is removed from office.
The California congresswoman accepted a lifetime achievement award from the Stonewall Young Democrats on Saturday in Los Angeles, telling the enthusiastic crowd that Mr. Trump threatened Americans’ way of life and deserved to be impeached.
“I’m gonna get him,” Ms. Waters said, according to a video published by progressive activist and attendee Edward Garren. “I’m in this fight and I’m not gonna move.

The speaker does not have to be a member of the house, it could be the hildabeast.
If mad max actually succeeds in getting President Trump and the VP Pence before Pence could select his VP, the hildabeast would then be constitutionally next in line for the presidency.

When the Deep State of the time went after Nixon, they went for Vice President Spiro Agnew FIRST, to assure they would not have to go through the same thing twice.
Agnew had problems of his own stemming from his political career in Maryland, before he got to the VP slot. The threat was that whatever they had on him would be exposed and prosecution would proceed, unless he left quietly and right now, in the dark of the night. Agnew resigned and left the VP slot vacant, allowing Gerald Ford to be named VP, and after the Nixon resignation, Ford became the only man to ever ascend to the Presidency without ever being elected to the office of President or Vice President first.
The Democrats want to preserve that symmetry, only with their own choice for the appointment.

During the Agnew-Nixon lynching, there was no constitutional way to appoint a new VP. That was legislated specifically after the fiasco.

While I do not believe it likely that Trump will resign, be impeached or somehow removed from office, should that happen Mike Pence won’t even get his hand lifted from the Bible when taking the oath of office before the media will direct all its anti Trump vitriol toward him. The whole thing is not so much against Trump as negating the 2016 election.
VP Pence is a very capable VP, but he wouldn't last a week under the pressure.

Trump won’t be impeached or 25amd or any other *legal* schemes...if he leaves it will be via assanation. That’s where all this is heading. Left is beginning to realize nothing they are doing is working. They brought out the big guns last week. If the great Bob W can’t *get* Trump the next thing is *the final solution.*
