Julie Chen did not appear on Monday’s Season 9 premiere of “The Talk” on CBS the day after her husband, Leslie Moonves, was ousted as CEO-chairman of CBS Corp.
“I am taking a few days off from ‘The Talk’ to be with my family. I will be back soon and will see you Thursday night on ‘Big Brother’,” Chen said in a statement.
Host Sharon Osbourne kicked off the show saying, “It’s a very bittersweet day for a Season 9. We’re about to talk about something that affects everyone’s lives at CBS. I’ve never been nervous in my life, and i’ve very nervous right now. As you all know, Julie’s husband is in the news, and she’s taking off time to be with her family.”

Now, if Ronan wants even more dirt he should interview Moonves MALE colleagues....b/c men love to brag about their sexual exploits.
You can bet Moonvees recounted all of his activities with women to his pals........ with undisguised glee.
Would not be surprised if Moonvees taped some of it.....to enjoy it later.
Makes you wonder what Julie Chen had to do to get the guy to the altar.

More like CBS is already making some decisions. With Les no longer the CEO, Ms. Chen’s days at the network are clearly numbered. Safe bet she made a lot of enemies when her hubby was running CBS and now that he’s gone, the long knives are out.
I doubt that many of us alive today would be happy to have out lives & actions of 40 +++ years ago under the microscope.
Michael Brown gets sainthood & Moonves gets canned.....
