Yeah, it is damned if you do, damned if you dont

Or you get lucky and the eyewall hits NC instead of SC. I think evacuating the SC waterfront is premature, except the tourist cities. I would not be evacuating Charleston and using up hotels that could house people from NC.

They are evacuating Chincoteague, Va. too. they are trying to give time to those on the coast to get out of dodge. Although I honestly feel that S.C. will not get it as bad as they said just yesterday. This storm seems to be heading further north away from S.C. Even MD has a SOE in place now.
