Because China is a commie dictatorship and the US isn't, at least in theory?

If not for term limits Bill Clinton would probably be on his 7th term right now.

No god-damned way would any true patriot support that. We held elections during the Civil War and we will continue to hold elections no matter what.

We need more term limits, not fewer. Furthermore, we need Congressmen and Senators who have a life before politics, and will have one after politics.

Their compensation should reflect the fact that they are interrupting their lives to serve in DC. They need to maintain their home-state residences and have a house in DC.
