A strange thing to say. If you have a health insurance family plan your child is covered for mental health treatment. If you are poor, and have Medicaid, your child is covered as well. If you have money, you can buy even more mental health treatment. There no doubt are remote areas where specialized treatment is scarce, but this idea that in general there is no help available is largely false.
