Living the Southwest myself I agree. The main problem with the BLM is that they are so disconnected and insulated from the reality of their decisions and policies. They are way too far away from their own local field offices. So If you have a formal complaint to file over the head of a local field office manager you have to physically go to DC. This is a huge problem and challenge for us on this end where we are most affected by their policies.

Their local field offices here tend to go rogue and make up their own policies and laws because they are not being watched closer by their superiors.
