Back when comedians/tvstars were nice people... Yes - A time when comedians were actually funny and entertaining.
A time whem comedians delivered jokes instead of political diatribes.

Yes. Maybe that is why i like older shows. Most of them where genuinely nice people and it shown. No matter how good of an actor it shows. It's body language that can't be avoided or acted away.
Which suggests if someone that is good at casting they could make some wonderful shows today that would dominate the market.
