Pleads guilty to avoid the death penalty. He gets life to the tune of millions of taxpayer dollars to house, feed and provide a safe environment for the rest of his life. Wow, what justice, justice for whom? The murdered, their family, taxpayers, society? Whom?

Florence ADX would at least mitigate some of that with a lifetime of isolation and disorientation.

In any truly civilized society criminals such as this ILLEGAL immigrant would be tried, convicted, and publicly hanged within 10 days of their apprehension.

Murderland does not have the death penalty. Maybe he was bucking for better prison accommodations, closer to his relatives.
