They meltdown into fits of hysterical convulsions at the mere mention of his name. Its quite a psychological phenomena to observe...to me, one of the prime requirements for being a leftist seems to be a firm conviction that one is far superior to all those around him/her - more intelligent, morally superior, unfailingly compassionate - at the same time, the left clearly sees Trump as an inferior, almost subhuman, being - stupid, unstable, clownish - and so it must be almost an existential threat to them that this buffoonish nothing who doesn't believe or behave as they do has ended up in essence ruling over them - not only is this far inferior person now in a position of authority and control over them, but sixty million other far inferior people helped put him there against what they wanted to have happen and so in effect defied and got the best of them - it must shake their very sense of who they are and make them question what they believed about themselves and the world - very scary......

Excellent analysis! They cannot deal with the reality that someone they despise was elected by people they perceive as the unwashed masses.
