Will never buy this brand name again. They must be fond of suicide.

I haven’t bought Levis in years. Loved ‘em. They used to be what I lived in. Sigh. And I’ve never owned a Nike product. Unless we’re talking healthcare, companies that think folks can’t live without their product need their board’s heads examined.

Levi’s used to be the thing. One or two models then bell-bottoms... zippers were not even an option as they buttoned-up... I think they went to zippers when they became mod, we called them dungarees, “dung” being the keyword... As they were what they were, work pants, farm equipment. I remember wearing Levi’s that were straight legged, and stiff as a board, lasted quite a while, and cost $20 per. Back in the 60’s $20 was a lot of money.

It took dedication to break them in because they were thick and almost unbendable. I would take mine out back and beat them against a tree I would rub them in the dirt I would go out and play football or something in them, wash them & not dry them in the dryer... beat them on the tree some more (the tree was my favorite method), it took real effort to get them cool looking not to mention plyable. Biker gangs were mysteriously thought to just put them on “off the shelf” and never washing them, AND wearing them constantly until they fell to pieces, which probably took years.

But those days of yore are no longer, And Levi’s is one of many brands in the marketplace. I prefer other brands these days such as Carhartt. I haven’t even looked at a Levi set of dungarees in probably 30 years.

How many pairs of their jeans have been sold to cowboys in the past 150 years +++?

Those cowboys STILL carry weapons when way from the ranch house, and in the border states, they are carrying AT the ranch house/barn/shed/hay shed also. These men have used guns all of their lives.

The snowflakes that are making these corporate decisions are ruining the brand.
