Grand Jury Proceeding's are done in SECRET.
Videotape the interrogation. NOT HAPPENING!!!!!!!
No your "Attorney" can't be in the Grand Jury room, but can be outside in the hallway.
The trick to a Grand Jury Subpoena, is simply when you are sworn in "Do you Mr/Mrs Citizen, swear or affirm to tell the whole truth, nothing but the truth etc." Your REPLY should be "I refuse to answer, and invoke my 5th Amendment right."
Is your Name "Mr. Mrs/ Citizen?" "I refuse to answer, and invoke my 5th Amendment right."
Do you live at such & such address? "I refuse to answer, and invoke my 5th Amendment right."
Is today the x-y-z date? "I refuse to answer, and invoke my 5th Amendment right."
Are you a criminal? "I refuse to answer, and invoke my 5th Amendment right."
Answer ANY QUESTION, you lose your right to invoke 5th Amendment right.
If you try to invoke your 5th Amendment after answering some basic questions, the judge will take you & {sometimes} the prosecutor into chambers, will ask you just what it "is," that you think your entitled to "5th Amendment Protection{s.}" If the judge(s) find(s) your entitled to, he / she will uphold your right, and or ORDER YOU to Answer, if you don't, you will be found in Contempt of COURT, and off to jail until you answer.
Is this a great country or what?
an episode of the Rockford files exposed exactly what you said about the grand juries.,,
