You have a trade deficit with the grocery store. You buy stuff from them but they don't buy anything from you. Are they stealing from you? Would you be better off not trading with them?
But you have a trade surplus with your employer. They buy your services but you don't buy theirs. Are you stealing from them?
A trade deficit is not a loss. It simply means we're getting more stuff from one country than they get from us. It's perfectly normal and reasonable to have trade deficits with some countries and trade surpluses with others, as we do. It's a good thing.
This railing against trade deficits is economic ignorance.
BTW My employer, grocery store et al are AMERICAN entities. They are not a foreign entity sucking up dollars and de industrializing the USA. SEE THE DIFFERENCE? No you don't because you are stupid beyond description or a globULList, same thing.
The reason why the Republicans struggle to gain AND KEEP a majority is because a tiny sliver of the electorate, Free Traitor™ globalists ( Bushies. Lie-ber- terrorists), dominate the leadership of the party. Until they get the boot from leadership position, the Republicans will always struggle, when they shouldn't have to.
