I agree. The whole thing is a for-show event. Just vote.

Kavenaugh was a pass-through clerk for Bush is what it sounds like. The real people doing stuff would send it to him and he’d pass it through to Bush if he thought it was finished.

I don’t see how that would tell anything about what he actually thinks compared to what he actually wrote opinions on.

If he writes “complete” on something that’s controversial, then they’ll use that to say he agreed with it or didn’t speak up about it or whatever.

And since ideas were coming to a president from all over, those folks’ confidential positions would all be public.

These senators have no clue about their role of "advise and consent."

Ever since Edward M. Kennedy launched his successful smear of Judge Robert Bork, Democrats have been dying to mount another Borking.

They tried with Gorsuch without being patently obvious because the numbers weren't there, but this time they're going for the gold despite the numbers, because Kavanaugh represents the dreaded 5th vote.
