I think for the most part the facts are correct, if incomplete or out of context, but the spin is what the book is all about.
I have no doubt that a practice session on Trump’s testimony, conducted by an able attorney, would have gone exactly as shown. Trump tends to “shoot from the hip” when speaking, and in front of FIB agents or a grand jury, that’s the last thing you can do.
As for Afghanistan, that part does make Trump look good. He’s asking his generals the same questions the American people started asking six months after we got there.
