We must have a miscommunication. I went to the Life Extension Foundation website (lef.org) just now, and entered "vitamins" into their on-site search bar, and it came back with 1,338 responses.
I’ve come to believe that marketed derivatives of niacin, or variations of vitamin B3, are more of a scam the greater number of steps they diverge from niacin. But at least they aren’t so likely to cause diabetes, etc.

That’s all well and good for a lot of people starting out right now but not for older folks living on a limited income or those unable to work for whatever reason.
Nah; I’ve lived where 85% of the population is over 65 and it was not fun or enjoyable at all. One gets tired of looking at nothing but old faces all the time. A more balanced population age is the right way to go IMHO. Besides, some people are 80 and feel 60, while others are 60 and feel 80. If you’re in that later group; a long drawn out life probably doesn’t sound so appealing.
Can you imagine what would happen to the population of the planet in just a few generations if people didn’t die off when nature intended? The world is already over populated. This would kill it.
It has 150mg per capsule. We have also bought the Life Extension brand at 250mg a capsule. This was sent to a relative with liver cancer to take 500mg a day.
For the price, the one above seemed the least expensive for the quality when I last looked at costs.

Interesting. I didn't realize they had different web sites. But I see what's happening: They are trying to keep their non-profit foundation activities separate from their magazine and vitamin supplement sales, to help create a legal shield against the FDA which has been trying to shut them down for years. The FDA insists (with good logic) that the Life Extension organization has effectively been promoting its products as (unapproved) drugs. And Life Extension effectively replies "F-U" to the FDA, and fights the FDA in court and in Congress.
It's too bad that President Trump chose to appoint big-pharma-supporter Dr. Scott Gottlieb as head of the FDA, instead of Jim O'Neill, a libertarian who wanted to severely limit the FDA's power.
Bump for later
much better way than ingesting stuff already exists, and costs less than $1 a day. science is always wanting to add foreign stuff which can then create more issues in other ways because it will knock other things out of balance. Just rebalance and get things working more efficiently, like when we each were younger and healthier.
(Cackle) were not done yet! Sorry Millenials!

I was found to be super low in B-12 plus D and my doc has me getting shots for rest of my life. After several months I starting feeling better, most neurological symptoms went away. But now over a year later I’m back to feeling tired, lethargic and trouble getting thoughts out verbally at times. I don’t know what’s going on, I’m getting the shots every month as directed.
I would. I want to know what the future holds 50+ years from now. On my deathbed I will have sorrow from not knowing what will become of the rest of my children’s and grandchildren’s lives. And then depending on the state the country is in, I would lament not seeing how it pans out.
Well, that certainly is one way of looking at it :)

I won’t be able to afford to live that long......
You should be able to get the B-12 and D adequately without seeing your doctor. They are super cheap at Sams Club or Costco.
Do you have any other symptoms or noted conditions?
How much NAD+ do you take, daily? Just curious.... thanks.
No thanks. This world sucks too much and it will continue to decline.
