Good grief; so we need a “Devil’s Advocate” in FISA courts to make hypothetical arguments against issuing the warrants? Probably hard to find a lawyer who does not already have a positive working relationship with Satan, so that could be a challenge.

I believe the authorizing legislation for FISA courts envisioned FISA court judges as ‘devil’s advocates’.

The reason there’s so little demand for review in this case is because everyone in DC knows that in FISA courts there does not need to be allegations of a crime or even that a crime is imminent. That’s an overlooked bombshell.
